Bristol Rovers FC Community Trust currently run Disability Football sessions for young people with disabilities. They aim to give young people the opportunity to play football in a fun inclusive environment which is catered for their needs. The sessions are led by the Trust’s Community coaches who create a fun and inclusive environment for all involved.
The sessions are based at the brand new 6 million pound Lockleaze Sports Centre, Bonnington Walk, Lockleaze BS7 9XF. They play on a Tuesday evening from 5-6pm during term time led by the Trusts Community Coaches who create a fun and inclusive environment for all involved. There are 2 sessions running at the same time, one for primary ages (6-11) and the other for secondary ages (11-16). All sessions are free of charge.
These sessions offer young people with disabilities the opportunity to play football, keep fit and make new friends. It demonstrates their commitment to improving the opportunities for young people in the local area.
