- Profile
Pro Touch SA is a registered Community Interest Company. It was previously known as Pro Touch Soccer Academy, a Company Limited by Guarantee, which was established back in February 2006. In March 2017, the newly formed Pro Touch SA CIC organisation was re-branded and re-structured as to ensure we deliver the wider community needs and services through various pro-active and targeted activities, programmes, projects, and events both locally and nationally occasionally. The first is to help, support and encourage potential children and young people 4 – 25 to fulfil their dreams in achieving their set goals whatever that may be. We also wish to engage with the wider community and families, who need the support and guidance through personal or family hardship and may be socially excluded in society through no
fault their own such as race, religious, disabilities or social background.
Our values:
1. Achieve
2. Inspire
3. Opportunities
4. Well-being
5. Unite
Pro Touch SA organisations also want to highlight the issue of increasing youth and sports participation among those who may not have access to, or interest in, a team or individual activity. Pro Touch SA target age group is children and young people between 4-25 years who live or study within London boroughs including Barnet, Brent, Camden, City of Westminster, Enfield, Ealing, Hackney, Haringey, Islington, Lambeth, Newham, Southwark and Tower Hamlets just to name a few.
The Objective
Pro Touch SA will work very closely with the children and young people and improve their individual needs by developing programmes which will enhance and strengthen their weaknesses and overall youth and football/sports potential. This will involve a variety of topics and workshops such as fitness, intensive exercise, anti-racism, drugs awareness, culture, and attitude, along with informal education such as Money for Life, UPS Road Code etc. within the field of youth and sports. This will hopefully give some of the less confident children and young people the self-esteem and belief that sports can be played by anyone and everyone within a safe and enjoyable environment.
